Hong Kong is pretty warm in recent winters. Some people are longing for a cold and traditional winter. You can now experience an European winter in Finland - Europe's last wilderness: watching Aurora borealis in a snow tank, riding on a husky sledge, driving the snowmobile, learning the Nordic skiing and visit Santa's home.

Morning Reindeer Safari
The guide will pick up guests from Kakslauttanen and provide thermal outfits at the farm. After photo opportunity with reindeer it's time to sit comfortably in the sledge under warm blankets and head into the wilderness. The pace is calm and the guests can relax, breath in the fresh air and listen to the soundscape of the arctic wilderness. After the ride we enter to a traditional reindeer herder's shelter and home "kota" to enjoy hot juice and a Finnish treat. Guests will also learn about the fascinating nature and culture of the region.
Aurora Hunting by Car at night
The best way to experience the beauty of Lapland's snow-capped mountains and forests is by car. A comfortable way to chase the Northern Lights! There are plenty of great photo opportunities along the way, and we'll also stop to give you the chance to get out and experience the Arctic wilderness.

Morning Nordic Skiing Instructions
Nordic skiing – also called cross-country skiing - is a national sport in Finland. It is suitable for everybody and extremely good for the body and mind, with beautiful winter scenery serving as an inspiring backdrop. Your teacher will provide you with the gear and profound instructions.
Afternoon Snowmobile Safari
A thrilling ride in the arctic forest. The best way to see the fell landscape in Lapland is by taking off with a snowmobile. The guests are picked up from Kakslauttanen, taken to the activity location, and provided with thermal outfits and instructions. The snowmobile is for two people where the other one is driving and the other sits in the back, you can swap drivers halfway. You head into the wilderness with a bit of adrenaline and get immersed into the arctic nature. Drivers need to be 18 years of age with a driving license.

A day free at your leisure where you may join other optional activities such as full day excursion with Sampo Ice Breaker. HKD16,600 per person
After serving 30 year in demanding arctic waters the mighty Icebreaker Sampo has been given a new, fascinating task – to give unforgettable experiences for eager winter adventures! An icebreaker cruise out of the town of Kemi is one of Finland's most popular travel attractions. You also have the opportunity to take a dip in the Bay of Bothnia in a dry suit – you will be given a certificate for your bravery.

- Snowmobile drivers need to be 18 years old and with a driving license.
- HK Travel Industry Council recommends every traveler to purchase the travel insurance that meets his/her needs before the journey
- Snowmobile safaris:
Drivers need to be 18 years of age carrying a valid driving license
All children under 12 / Guest under 140 cm must be seated in the sleigh and child need to be accompanied by an adult
You are not allowed to drive under the influence of alcohol or any other substances, according to Finnish law
There is a self-risk liability of Euro1650 for renting the snowmobiles
Instructions will be given before the start of the activity
We recommend safaris with duration of max. 2-3 hours for children
- Husky safaris:
Children under 4 years are not allowed in a sleigh alone and must be accompanied by an adult
In order to drive the sleigh, you need to weigh min. 50kg
A self-risk liability for husky dogs of Euro1650 will be charged as penalty fee for not following guide instructions
We recommend safaris with duration of max. 2-3 hours for children.
