Day 01  Hong Kong → Guiyang (Train G918: 10:02 – 15:05)

Take high-speed rail from Hong Kong to Guiyang, private transfer service upon arrival, then start a cultural city tour.

Jiaxiu Tower

A Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level & iconic landmark of Guiyang, built in the 26th year of Wanli reign of Ming Dynasty (1598). It stands on Aoji Stone in the middle of Nanming River, named after the phrase "outstanding talents thriving in imperial examinations". The whole scenic complex consists of 5 ancient building clusters: Chengnan Victory Arch, 9-arch Fuyu Bridge, Hanbi Pavilion, 3-storey main tower and Cuiwei Garden.

  1. Fuyu Bridge & Hanbi Pavilion: A 7-arch white stone ancient bridge crossing Nanming River. The riverside pavilion at the bridge centre is the best spot to photograph the tower’s water reflection, forming a classic view of "jade tower wrapped by river water".
  2. 3-storey main pavilion: Unique triple-eave wooden ancient building with red carved windows and white stone railings. A 206-character famous ancient couplet hangs inside, fully recording Guizhou’s provincial establishment, mountain history and imperial examination culture. Tour guide will narrate stories of 3 top scholars (2 literary, 1 military) and over 800 successful candidates in Ming & Qing dynasties.
  3. Cuiwei Ancient Garden: A Ming-style academy behind the tower, with quiet winding corridors. It was a gathering place for ancient literati to recite poems and study, witnessing thousands of years of Guizhou’s education development.

Climb the tower to overlook Nanming River urban river view and learn the complete development history of Guiyang from remote mountain town to provincial capital.

Qingyun Market

A national-level cultural & tourism block renovated from an old knitting factory, blending retro industrial factory buildings, cyber neon lights and authentic local street vibes.

Day 2|Guizhou Plum Garden (Limited Sept Ice Cream Hydrangeas) → Huajiang Canyon Bridge (World’s Tallest Bridge)

After breakfast, private coach transfers to Guizhou Plum Garden. Covering 1,800 mu, it is a top four-season ecological park in Gui’an New Area, planting over 350,000 hydrangeas of 70+ varieties with blooming season from May to October. Thousands of ancient plum trees blossom in winter & spring, while hydrangeas dominate summer & autumn. The exclusive cone-shaped ice cream hydrangea is the core highlight of this September tour.

Guizhou Plum Garden Full Highlights

  1. Sept Exclusive Ice Cream Hydrangea Details
    • Gradient colour: Pure creamy white at first bloom, gradually fading into soft light pink with flowering time. The gentle pastel tone is extremely flattering for portrait photos with light-coloured outfits.
    • Oversized blooms: Each flower ball reaches 15–20cm in diameter, standing tall on straight branches. Layered hillside flower fields stretch like a sea of pale pink clouds with rich visual depth.
    • Mountain landscape backdrop: Flower terraces built along karst hills, backed by lush pine forests. Natural light creates oil-painting effects without filters.
    • Seasonal companion flowers: Pink muhly grass and pampas grass bloom simultaneously, creating double-layered flower scenery.
  2. Sika Deer Interactive Park (Guizhou Mini Nara)

Free-range deer live in the garden all year round; dozens of gentle sika deer wander freely among flower bushes for close interaction and photoshoots. Deer are most active and friendly at 9:30 & 16:00. Round-trip shuttle carts (included in tour fee) deliver guests directly to flower fields and deer park, saving energy on uphill walks.

Multi-layer wooden viewing platforms, rest corridors and snack stalls are available in the garden for ample time of strolling, photographing and deer interaction.

Huajiang Canyon Bridge – World-Class Mega Infrastructure Viewing

Depart the garden and head to the official exclusive viewing platform of Huajiang Canyon Bridge. Opened in Sept 2025, it holds two Guinness World Records: the world’s tallest bridge and the longest steel truss suspension bridge in mountainous regions. Total length 2,890m, main span 1,420m, vertical height from deck to valley floor reaches 625m, crossing the 80km Huajiang Karst Grand Canyon known as "Earth’s Crack".
  1. Canyon & Engineering Highlights
Vertical cliffs hundreds of metres high line both sides, winding deep valleys spanned by orange steel cables and white bridge towers. The 2-hour detour between two sides is shortened to just 2 minutes after opening. Construction teams overcame strong winds and complex karst geology, acquiring 21 bridge construction patents. The guide will share engineering stories of high-precision cable hoisting and intelligent cable monitoring.

  2. Viewing Platform Experience
360° full-view platform equipped with science exhibition boards and telescopes, capturing full shots of orange steel cables, white towers and grey canyon. Mountain mist often shrouds the valley at dawn and dusk, making the bridge look like a rainbow floating above clouds for stunning photos.

Note: High-altitude skywalk, VR bungee jumping and cloud café consumption are self-paid. Strong wind and intense UV rays at the canyon; light jacket, sun hat and sunscreen are recommended. Only exterior viewing is arranged, no access to bridge deck.

    Transfer to Hotel after sightseeing.

Day 03  Wanfenglin (World’s Top Cone Karst Museum) → Wanfeng Lake (Lake Crossing 3 Provinces)

After breakfast, travel to 5A-level scenic spot Wanfenglin, the world’s most complete cone karst demonstration zone. Nearly 20,000 cone-shaped peaks stretch over 2,000 square kilometres. Xu Xiake, a famous Ming Dynasty traveller, wrote: "Mountains abound across the land, yet only here peaks form forests". Round-trip mountain shuttle carts are fully covered in tour fee, stopping at 6 core viewing platforms for full appreciation of integrated peak & farmland scenery.

Core Viewing Platforms of Wanfenglin

  1. Stars Embracing the Moon: Signature shooting spot of Wanfenglin. Hundreds of small peaks surround a central main peak, scattered high and low like stars encircling the moon, magnificent for full-group panoramic photos.
  2. Natural Bagua Terraces: Spiral terraced farmlands shaped naturally like earth fingerprints. Lush green rice paddies in September create soothing rural landscapes with soft curved ridges.
  3. Splendid Farmland: Ten-thousand-mu river valley rice fields dotted with white-wall grey-tile Buyi ancient villages. Clear streams run through villages, overlapping farmlands, peaks and dwellings filled with authentic southwest rural charm.
  4. 1314 Romantic Platform: 1,314 metres above sea level, symbolising "lifetime together". 360° unobstructed view of rolling ten-thousand peaks with stunning light at dawn and dusk.
  5. Smooth Success / Rising Steps Platform: Peaks rise layer by layer, offering a full vision of Wanfenglin’s vast scale.
  6. Nahui Buyi Ancient Village: Shuttle cart stops directly at the village entrance. Wander bluestone alleys, visit Buyi batik workshops and bamboo craft stalls to learn about original ethnic lifestyles.

Wanfeng Lake – Thousand-island Highland Cruise

Proceed to Hongchun Dock for sightseeing cruise (90-minute voyage, audio guide & open-air viewing deck). Wanfeng Lake is the largest artificial freshwater lake on the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau, covering 176 square kilometres and spanning the borders of Guizhou, Yunnan and Guangxi Provinces. Known as "One lake connecting three provinces, one lake holding a thousand islands", thousands of karst peak islands scatter across the water, extending Wanfenglin’s land karst scenery onto water for unique aquatic peak landscapes rarely seen worldwide. 3 highlights along the cruise route:
  1. Aquatic Stone Forest (Hongchun Stone Forest): Karst cone peaks rising straight from the lake formed by hundreds of millions of years of erosion. Cruising through feels like wandering in a moving landscape painting, with white egrets skimming the water and fish jumping occasionally.
  2. Mini Three Gorges: Hundred-metre vertical cliff walls on both sides, winding deep waterways shaded by dense forests. Mountain breeze carries fresh plant fragrance, combining serenity and grandeur.
  3. Jilong Castle (Distant View Only): Viral Gothic European castle standing alone on an isolated lake island, white walls with red spires resembling Germany’s Neuschwanstein Castle. The matching scenery of blue lake, dark peaks and white castle creates dreamlike photos.

Day 04  Huangguoshu Scenic Area (World’s Largest Waterfall Group)

After breakfast, depart for 5A-level Huangguoshu Scenic Area, a Guinness-record certified world’s largest waterfall group scattered along Baishui River with 18 unique karst waterfalls. The valley boasts extremely high negative oxygen ion concentration, hailed as a natural oxygen bar. Tour fee covers full-area shuttle carts and round-trip escalators for Huangguoshu Waterfall, eliminating exhausting steep slope climbing. Two core zones are fully visited.

1. Huangguoshu Waterfalls (The greatest waterfall in Asia)

77.8m high and 101m wide, the world’s greatest waterfall
  1. Water Curtain Cave: A 134m natural cave behind the waterfall, the filming location of the Flower & Fruit Mountain in the 1986 TV series Journey to the West. Walk through the cave to feel the surging waterfall up close, with splashing water and deafening roar; mist fills the air in rainy seasons like fairyland.
  2. Rhinoceros Pool: Deep pool under the waterfall. Complete rainbows often appear across the water surface under sunlight on sunny afternoons, forming a stunning reflection with the waterfall.
  3. Round-trip escalator: Direct access to the bottom viewing platform, saving thousands of stone steps for the best shooting angle.

2. Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area (Karst Water Miniature Garden)

6km downstream of the main waterfall, contrasting the grand waterfall with delicate elegant scenery, divided into 3 zones: Tianxing Basin, Tianxing Cave and Aquatic Stone Forest, featuring unique stone-water-tree symbiosis formed by over 200 million years of geological evolution.
  1. Life Counting Steps: 365 natural stone stepping stones corresponding to each day of the year. Visitors may find their birthday stone for photos and wishes, with clear streams winding around stones.
  2. Beauty Banyan & Couple Stone: Centuries-old banyan trees growing on cliffs with aerial roots wrapping rocks; natural paired stones symbolising loyal couples, classic photo spots.
  3. Tianxing Cave Underground Cavern: 18,000 sq.m giant underground space with stalagmite pillars over 20m tall. The "Grape Hall" and "Eight Immortals" stalagmite groups glow gorgeously under lighting for dreamy magnificent views.
  4. Silver Chain Falling Pool Waterfall (Tianxing Bridge Highlight): Evenly spread thin water streams dropping into deep pools, soft and elegant like thousands of silver threads, the soul landscape of the whole scenic area.

Transfer to Hotel after full sightseeing.
